Guest Table, Meal Baskets
The Table d’Hôtes at Moulin de la Plaine
At Moulin de la Plaine, our passion for cooking and the pleasure of sharing a good meal come together through our varied experiences:
Arnaud, a former pastry chef for patisseries and restaurants in France and abroad, brings his refined and delicious touch.
Agathe has managed the kitchens of a brasserie and masters the art of generous and convivial cooking.
Bénédicte, heir to a family tradition of cooks, knows how to elevate homemade dishes rich in flavors, inspired by her life as a globetrotter.
Gérard, a great wine and gastronomy enthusiast, completes the team with his love for fine dining.
Together, we wanted to share our expertise and open the doors to our table d’hôtes, available by reservation from Sunday evening to Thursday evening. We make a point of working with local products and, upon request, we can offer vegetarian or gluten-free meals.
On other evenings, to promote local establishments, we will be happy to recommend the best restaurants in the area.
Picnic Basket for Your Excursions
To accompany your adventures and discover the treasures of our region, we offer a simple and delicious picnic basket. Perfect for your hikes, walks, or outings in nature, this basket contains everything you need for a tasty break.
Prepared with fresh, local products, it reflects our commitment to quality and simplicity. Don’t hesitate to order it in advance to make the most of your excursion day.
On-site Activities (Swimming Pool, Tennis, Walks, etc.)
THE SWIMMING POOL
Our private 4x8 swimming pool is available to all guests, meaning it will be shared by everyone. It is open from May to September, weather permitting. The pool is heated (between 24° and 26°C), but the night temperature must not be below 12°C to ensure a comfortable temperature of 24°C.
Lounge chairs, armchairs, and pool floats are provided for your use.
Children are, of course, under the responsibility of their parents.

CYCLING
We have a few traditional bicycles available that we can lend you occasionally. For long-term rentals or electric bikes, you will need to contact "Sport Passion 41" a rental service in Montoire-sur-le-Loir.
THE INFLATABLE JACUZZI
It is available for a maximum session of 50 minutes, from 11 AM to 10 PM, and only with prior reservation.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
We are fortunate to be able to share with our guests a 3-hectare park that offers open spaces for children to play, shaded areas ideal for relaxation, and a few amenities for the more active guests:
- A tennis court
- A pétanque court
- A swing
- A ping-pong table
- A foosball table
- Bicycles
- Various outdoor games (Mölkky, darts, badminton, etc.)
ANIMALS
For the greatest joy of children, we are delighted to have a chicken coop with our little laying hens, and a lovely enclosure with Rocky and Ursula. Our hens will happily accept your food scraps (except citrus fruits): a small green bin is provided in each kitchen, so feel free to share your leftovers with them, they will be thrilled. As for Rocky and Ursula, they will enjoy your leftover bread.
FISHING
Our fishing enthusiasts are very welcome. The Loir River runs through the property, and the weirs and sluices that oxygenate the water make the Moulin de la Plaine a paradise for river fishing lovers.
Fishing for pike, zander, eel, and other river fish is particularly enjoyed here. A fishing permit is, of course, required to fish on the estate. For more information, please contact Gérard, the passionate fisherman!
